Eric Engel received a BS in Pharmacological Chemistry from UCSD before attending graduate school at UCSB, where he earned a master’s degree in Chemistry. Inspired by his awesome high school chemistry teacher, Eric fell in love with teaching and the challenges and fulfillment it brings. Eric is a full-time chemistry instructor at CLAS, and he is happy to share his experiences and insights with students to help them not only pass chemistry but succeed at UCSB and beyond. When not talking about chemistry and dropping bad science puns, Eric likes to play guitar and hang out with his wife and two kids.
