I graduated from UCSB in 2023 with a BS in Mathematics and a minor in Math and Science education. I taught at CLAS for two years as a student tutor, then loved it so much that I transitioned to a full time math instructor position after graduating. My love for teaching and math started in high school with my truly incredible teachers that always pushed me to learn and grow, in turn inspiring my fascination and awe of the learning process itself. No two students learn material the same way, and I love finding new ways of thinking and learning everyday in the classroom. I’m so thankful to be in a position where I can not only teach but also learn something new everyday. Outside of CLAS, I enjoy reading, taking care of my plants, exploring new places, and doing extreme sports (snow skiing and scuba diving are the current favorites).
