Kristen Dunkinson entered UCSB as a transfer student and graduated in 2011 with a BA in Linguistics and went on to complete an MA in Linguistics at Eastern Michigan University.  After completing her degree, she ventured abroad to gain experience teaching English in Japan for four years. With a variety of experience to draw from, she has skills in Linguistics as well as teaching ESL. Now she has returned to UCSB to continue pursuing her goal of assisting students to achieve their educational goals as a Writing Instructor with CLAS.
